Another way to help

Dear HHS Alumni,

Our hallowed halls have a new purpose.  This regal building is now home to ARTS…Arts Resources for the Tri-State.  ARTS began its mission of educating and enriching the Huntington community in the areas of fine and performing arts in 1999.  Since then thousands of children (and adults) have enrolled in enrichment classes focusing on music, art, performance, languages and dance.

There is an ongoing campaign to make repairs and updates to this grand old building which holds many memories.  We have come a long way and much has been accomplished.  However, after working tirelessly for several years ARTS goal for this building is not complete.  Painting, electrical work and stage curtains are a few things we have on our wish list.  This is where HHS Alumni can help make this wish come true.  As graduates of HHS we are asking for your contribution – either as an individual or as a class.  We are issuing a challenge to all classes to donate.  No contribution is too small (or large).  These monies can be matched dollar for dollar with grants.  ARTS is a 501 c3 organization and donations are tax deductible.

We have set high goals for our Alma Mater and we are asking you to help keep our school a teaching organization.  With your help our auditorium now called The Renaissance Theater and our Renaissance Ballroom can keep our school a crown jewel in our Jewell City.
