ARTS will offer two sessions of Cotillion for 2007/2008 Season. First classes will begin on Sept 30, 2007 with other dates of Oct. 7, Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov 4, and November 11th. All classes will be help at The Renaissance Center on Sunday 2pm to 4pm.
The classes will be offered to students in 5th. & 6th. grades and will teach them how to act and learn to treat others with honor, dignity, and respect for better relationships with family, friends, and business associates later in life, and to learn and practice ballroom dance.
All sessions are dress-up affairs for which careful grooming is required. Hair should be neatly combed, fingernails clipped and clean, and shoes polished and so forth. Dancing requires hard soled shoes, not athletic shoes please. Ladies should wear conservative Sunday dresses or skirts, and dress shoes for dances. Gentlemen should wear khaki pants, dress shirts, ties and navy or dark blazers.
Classes will begin promptly at 2pm. Members may arrive up to 15 minutes early. Please be sure to call for your son/daughter promptly at the end of class.
Chewing gum is not allowed at Cotillion. Members are required to conduct themselves at all times in accordance with courtesies taught. If your child fails to conduct himself or herself appropriately, they will be asked not to return, and the fee will not be refunded.

The GRAND BALL will be held at Guyan Country Club on Saturday, November 17th. Cost of classes with Ball included is $175.00 per student.
Elizabeth Withers will be instructor with her Daughter Mary Beth to assist. Ms. Withers is owner of Village Dance in Barboursville and also teaches in Cabell County Schools.
