The fall 2010 after school program will begin Sep. 12th. The winter term will begin after the new year.
Open house is September 11, 2010, 2:30pm in the Renaissance Ballroom. All students, parents, instructors, and ARTS board members are invited to attend.

The Youth Jazz Orchestra is a performance organization that provides a learning and performance opportunity in jazz. This class will emphasize jazz improvisation and jazz ensemble performace. Look for this group to perform throughout the tri-state area. Members are accepted by audition.

The "Appalachian Children's Chorus" provides a music performance and education program for children and youth, emphasizing the development of musical skills and understanding. The children's chorus is a special learning environment designed to provide a rich and rewarding musical experience for each child. The children will study and perform a variety of music from simple folk songs to more challenging classical and multi-cultural repertoire.

The purpose of the cotillion class is to enhance socialization skills through proper etiquette. Classes will emphasize telephone courtesy, introductions, dress codes, dining manners, and formal dance. The program will emphasize respect for better relationships with family, friends, and business associates later in life. The class includes a formal dinner and final ball to utilize the skills the students have learned.

The Tri-State Youth Orchestra is a performance organization that supports a full orchestra for advanced music students ages 12-18. Members are accepted by audition.
